Please note the CSV uploader is limited to 5000 rows per upload.

CSV Reference

Line 1 of your CSV must contain the field names listed below (The order of fields is not important).

Column Name Example Description
sku ** A4REAM500 required SKU of the product being sent. This cannot be blank or 0.
name Copy Paper Name of the product being sent. This cannot be blank.
variant_name Copy Paper A4 80gsm 500 Sheets Pack Name of product if it is a variant.
value 4.82 The price of the product to the customer. This cannot be blank or 0.
weight 2.1 The weight of the individual product in kilograms. This cannot be blank or 0.
length 4.5 The length of the product in centimeters.
height 3.2 The height of the product in centimeters.
width 1.2 The width of the product in centimeters.
barcode 8723255485 Barcode (UPC, EAN, ISBN, ...) of the product being sent.
commodity_code 4821101000 UN commodity code, used for shipping internationally.
commodity_description Ream of paper Commodity description, used for shipping internationally.
commodity_manucountry GB Country of manufacture, used for shipping internationally.
commodity_composition Paper Composition and/or materials of the item being sent, used for shipping internationally.
thumbnail_url http://shiptheoryproducts.com/product1.png The URL for where the product image is listed, this can be used for custom integrated labels or the returns portals.
export_details.mid_code PAPR231 Manufacturer's Identification Code.
export_details.gtin 0123456789012 Global Trade Item Number.
export_details.eccn ECCN1234 The Export Control Classification Number.
stock_location A32 This is the bin location of where the product is located.
dangerous_goods.is_dangerous true (Boolean) Flag to mark whether shiptheory will submit and process dangerous goods information to supported carriers.
dangerous_goods.un_number 1234 This is the dangerous goods UN number. Accepted values are 0000 to 9999, please do not include the UN prefix.
dangerous_goods.unit g The unit to measure amount in. Valid options are ml and g. Defaults to ml
dangerous_goods.amount 123 Product amount corresponding to unit. Valid range 1 to 99999
dangerous_goods.category LQDG The category of dangerous goods.
Dangerous Goods Categories. Defaults to LQDG.
dangerous_goods.is_accessible true Whether the dangerous good needs to be accessible on an aircraft.
cpsc_details.is_regulated 1 Flag to indicate whether the product is regulated by the CPSC.
cpsc_details.registry_product_id 012345678905 The CPSC registry product ID.
cpsc_details.certifier_id C123456X The CPSC registry certifier ID.
cpsc_details.product_version 2026.1.333 The CPSC registry product version.
cpsc_details.intended_use_code 130.006 The product intended use standardised code.
cpsc_details.intended_use_description Designed for ages 3 up Product intended use free text description (max 22 characters).
cpsc_details.disclaim_code NR Disclaimer code to state the product is exempt from CPSC regulations.
